Don’t Just Take It From Us

Skaglund consistently delivers high-quality jetty stone that meets USACE standards. Their reliability and scale make them a strong partner for large marine construction projects.

—Scott Vandegrift, J.E. McAmis

Skaglund Quarry has always been the place I use when possible to get any of their rock products. Their 5/8" minus crushed rock makes an amazing driveway, patio, or parking pad. Their team is always fast to load you or your dump trucks and get them back on the road as quickly as possible. The Skaglund Quarry crew is always happy to help in any way they can.

—Nathan Rengen, Rengen Earthworks INC

We recently contacted Skaglund Quarry to set up a business account, which was very straightforward and simple. The staff are very knowledgeable and happy to make sure that their products suit your needs. Their gravel is a product that you can get great compaction out of with ease. Quick load times, full legal loads, competitive pricing, and a great staff.

—Will Wedekind, W5 Construction LLC

As someone who proudly considers themselves a gravel enthusiast, I was initially hesitant to try a type of gravel outside my usual preferences, but I'm glad I took the chance. We use the 1 1/4 inch size for heavily used areas, and it's durable enough to withstand even our grandkids. Kimberlee consistently provides excellent customer service, and the loader operator demonstrates precision by ensuring my 5.5-ton trailer is never overloaded.

Yes—Washington State law requires loads to be properly secured. Don't skip this one.

What’s the difference between 5/8" minus and 1 1/4" minus?

Plus Icon

5/8” minus, also referred to as crushed surface top course (CSTC), compacts tightly and is ideal for pathways, patios, and smaller base projects.

1 1/4”minus, also referred to as crushed surface base course (CSBC), is a heavier base material used for driveways, parking areas, and structural applications.

How much does a yard weigh?

Plus Icon

It depends on the material, which is why we sell by the ton, not the yard. Call us at (360) 631-0063 and we'll help you work out what you need.

From Contractors

Do you offer Contractor Accounts?
